Located in the North East of England near Newcastle Upon Tyne we are here to help you gain greater enjoyment from the wonderful sport of flyfishing.
We would like to have the pleasure of showing you how to cast a fly correctly so you attain the maximum satisfaction for the least effort.
Fly fishing is basically a question of learning the correct techniques and beginners, improvers and the experienced fly fisher are all welcome at NEFF. Our teaching methods are sympathetic and understanding. Of course fly fishing is not just about casting, tactics are an extremely important aspect of our sport and we can help and advise on these as well.
Great emphasis is placed on the actual teaching methods and we like to think "The NEFF way is the right way".
We are extremely pleased to have the well known and highly experienced Salmon and Trout Association qualified instructor Robert "Bob" Milne (Salmon and Trout Association National Instructor Certificate-STANIC). Bob is also a member of the Game Angling Instructors Association-GAIA). We are proud of the fact we have Bob as our practical angling "Guru" and it has often been quoted that an hour or two in Bob's company is not only an education but a pleasure as well !
It is has been said casting a fly is an art, and there is a great deal of truth in this, but it is an art that can be learnt and if you are learning why not learn from the best ?
